Garrett Greene is our church’s Youth Pastor. He has been involved with youth since the Fall of 2015. He and his wife, Madison, now serve together to lead teens to live their lives for Christ. Our Youth Group stays active with regularly scheduled activities. Join our teen Sunday School class, or feel free to come out for our next activity. Sunday Schools were first setup in the 1790s as an opportunity for working children to learn how to read, write, cypher, and learn the Bible. Today, Sunday Schools aim to continue that purpose in educating God’s word. Calvary Road Baptist Church offers Sunday School every Sunday morning at 10am. 

Calvary Road Baptist Church operates a 40 foot bus seating up to 72 servicing the Indian Head/Bryans Road area. The purpose of the bus ministry is to carry out the great commission: (1) winning people to Jesus Christ, (2) baptizing the converts, and (3) discipling the converts. In the process of discipling, the bus ministry invites and presents the gospel to parents and children alike with the goal of seeing the whole family saved and serving the Lord.  Luke 14:23 – “And the lord said unto the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled.”

Junior Church is led this year by Mr. Smoot and Mrs. Smoot.  Mr. Smoot and his wife obtained assurance of their Salvation in 1994 shortly after Revival Services. The Smoots have  been married for 33 years and have been members here at Calvary Road for 17 years and have two adult Children serving in Church ministries. Mrs. Smoot loves to teach and they both desire to teach and train young people about God's love, His Salvation, and how to live their lives for Christ all while being in a fun atmosphere.
Proverbs 22:6 – “Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.”

Elana, Naomi, and Charles  lead the Calvary's Kids program with a zeal for discipling, teaching, and training children to serve Jesus Christ. Master Clubs is held on Wednesdays from 7pm – 8:30pm. The program coincides with the school year and provides an opportunity for participants to rally, to learn challenging Bible lessons, to apply God’s word through projects, to have fun with Bible games, and to receive awards for their hard work. Participants also have the opportunity to utilize what they have learned through regional competitions held every Spring. Come join us for an amazing year in glorifying our God.

 The nursery is entrusted with the most important members of the church family. There is no greater treasure on this side of Heaven than the little ones God has given us. Service in the church nursery allows our church goers to focus on worship. The nursery welcomes you with friendly greetings and exceptional care of each child. The church nursery is available for all services.
Psalms 127:3 – “Lo, children [are] an heritage of the LORD: [and] the fruit of the womb [is his] reward.”
